Who Is Ian Mandeno?

Ian's experience comes from the 'School of Life', and being open to the challenge that is found in helping others.

Ian started his career as a Motor Mechanic, and after 20 years as a Qualified Mechanic, it was time for a change!

This change consisted of retraining as an Accountant. It was this change that sparked Ian's interest in the dreams and visions that are locked away in most people.

Having trained and worked as an Accountant, Ian started his own practice in 1989.

In March 1999 Ian was the first in New Zealand, to be awarded the title Accredited Speaking Member, by The National Speakers Assn., of New Zealand. In December 2004 Ian was made a Life member for services to speakers  and his achievements as an International Speaker.

By listening to how people were locked into a chain of events, that had been created by others, Ian started to develop seminars and finally, in 1992 launched the Motivation Through Planning Seminars.

Since this time, Ian has developed other workshops on Public Speaking, Communication Skills, Eating Elephants for Profit, and many others.

Ian's skill in speaking and communication have been put to effective use in public speaking and has spoken to a large number of groups, including corporate groups both nationally and internationally.
